Welcome to the website of Yorkshire based wildlife photographer Toni Cross

Toni photographs wildlife worldwide. Her work increasingly concentrates on mammals of all kinds with a special emphasis on cetaceans and horses, and her new projects are increasingly focusing on these species.
Projects have included a two month trip around Australia in late 2008, concluding in an exhibition 'Changing Tides' in cojunction with the RSPB, and a trip to Assateague Island in 2009 which provided inspiration for the new project 'Horse Stories' which began in 2010. Take a look at the Horse Stories page to find out more about this long term project and News and New Images pages to see the latest work.
Toni also runs photographic workshops and courses and can tailor these to suit photography groups, schools and youth groups. If you are interested in a course please contact us

Images are also available for media use and we have a library of around 15,000 images to date, including a large variety of Australian wildife images.

Images from incredible Bella Coola British Columbia

New images are now on show from my recent trip to British Columbia, Canada.  The highlight of the trip was undoubtably a few days spent in the fantastic Bella Coola valley. Infamous for both it's steep, gravel surfaced access road - known throughout Canada and beyond simply as 'The Hill' and for its Grizzly population, Bella Coola is definately a wildlife photographers dream. Many bears here have grown up around fishermen and locals, are fairly habituated to human presence, and can be viewed from the BC Parks viewing platform and from boats on the river, with relative ease. The resident Orcas around the Robson Bight Marine Preserve were also fantastic addition to the trip. I hope you enjoy the resulting images.
